Things Are Not Always What They Seem

Looks legitimate, right?
"System Security Pack Upgrade" sounds official. "Automatic Updates" listed in the title is certainly a good thing. There's a nice long version number, and there's even a Microsoft Knowledge Base article you can reference if you'd like.
As I'm sure you've guessed, this is certainly not a real update of any kind. It's a very cleverly designed piece of malware called "Antimalware Doctor" and it tricks a lot of people.
The lesson here is to pay attention to what you're clicking on. If something doesn't feel right, look in to it. If you don't know what "Antimalware Doctor" is, search for it and find out. If you see a Knowledge Base reference, check it out (the fact that it doesn't exist should be a big red flag).
There's no reason to use your computer in constant fear but you should always be diligent. Things are not always what they seem so being aware of what you're installing and using goes a long way.
Note: If you've found this post because you're searching for a solution to this particular problem, Bleeping Computer has a great uninstall guide here.
